Whose responsibility is it to make sure children are successful in school parents or teachers?

  1. In my opinion, I think that both are responsible for the success of students. Parents should be concerned because, they need their children to succeed and to do well, and the teachers should be concerned because, they would want to see their students succeed as well, knowing that they have taught them something well.

  2. Well to me, I think that it's both the parent and teacher responsibility to make sure children are successful. The reason I say this is because parents need to provide love and care for the child and to make sure that their child goes to school to learn. And the teacher needs to make sure that they are teaching and making sure the children understand what is being taught. Providing good quality education so they could be successful in life, so they could grow up to be a lawyer or whatever they want to do when they grow up.

  4. I also agree that both the parent and teacher should work simultaneously to educate a child. To clarify, the child's home values and training should be established by the parent. Through doing this, the teacher will effectively be able to propel the child's academic and social developments.

  5. I think it's both parents and teachers responsibilites. You have to show the kids that you really care and love them, and want nothing but the best for them. The kids also play a big role in it as well, they have to want it in ordder to be successful.

  6. I feel that both parents and teachers are responsible for making sure a child is successful in school. I say this because without a role model at home or a parent that cares the child may feel they can't reach the goal they want to achieve or it isn't important if the parent doesn't stress the issue. A parent has to show the love and how important it is for them to see their child succeed. If a teacher show how much they care about the student, they will know for a fact they have the potential to be successful.

  7. I would say "both" parts are responsible to make sure that children are successful, as a person you learn new things no matter where your presence is at the time. You learn in school around your teachers and at home with your parents! It is the responsibility to teach the child what the child needs to learn in school, and a parents job to teach the child things also so there are responsibilty that needs to be taught on each end!

  8. I say both parents and teachers are responsible to make sure childern are successful in school beacause when the child is at home he or she is going to learn from their parents, they are going want to do what they see their mom or dad do. In school the teachers are responsible to teach the chid what they to know.

  9. Both teachers and parents play a very important part. Parents should make sure they teach their children responsibility at home. They should also make sure their children are completing their work in school and at home. Teachers play a very important part in a child success just as the parents do. I say this because it is a teacher’s job to educate the child in the best way they know how. Teachers should stay on students to make sure that they apply themselves to their best of their ability in their school work.

  10. I personally think that it's the responsibility of the student to make sure they get their education because these days you can't get any job without a college degree. Also, I think you should expand your education as long as you're able too. Next, it's your not much of a responsibility for the parent as it is for the student only because the parent can only send the child off to school and support he/she. It's up to the child whether he/she gets their education.

  12. I feel it's both of their jobs. if a teacher isn't doing what they need to do to teach the child and help them understand the work given then that's fault on their part. If the parent isn't doing what they need to do on their part such as encouraging the child and assisting the child on homework assignments then thats the parent's fault. So it's a left and right, hand and hand thing to me.

  13. I think that both the parent and the teacher is responsible for making sure that the children are sucessful. The parent has to put a little bit of force on rules for learning and attending school. Teachers have to give the children the needed education to be sucessful in life.
