Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had a personal dream for his own children

"I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

What "dream" do you have for children?  What could be done to make your ideal world for children a reality?

  1. I'm not having children. But the things that could be done to make the future better for kids is people having more compassion for the kids of the world and to strive for excellence and also for people to become industrious to benefit any child.

  3. I want all kids to be successful in whatever they do in their future. They don't have to be a doctor, judge etc. I won't judge, I just hope they be successful and I wish them the best.

  5. My dream is that I have for children is that I hope that they live in a better society than today. There have been some huge changes but more can be done to make this world an safer enviornment than what it already is. Children should grow up to become respectful to their self and others. Also, try to be a better person and to become a leader and not a follower.

  7. I dream that my children will never be judge based on their appearance. I wont my children to be treated as the next. I plan to make something out of myself only dreaming they accomplish every goal of theirs. I want them to know that skin color doesn't matter and that what matters is their abilities. I dream they take full advantage while in school never to slack and stay at the top not because its what I want but because they want to. In all I dream what I teach my children they make sure to teach theirs and so forth.

  9. My dream for children is to be raised in a two-parent home so they can have a man and woman figure to look up to. I also want them to be successful in life and have goals and standards to live up to and never to settle for less.

  10. The dream that I have for children is for them to get an great education in life and not to think about what other people think or say about them. Show them that they can make something out of their life and let them know to think about all of the positive things and not about the negative things.

  13. My dream for my children is to not live in poverty. My children will have all the things that I didn't as a child. I want my children go to the highest best education and be treated with proper respect. They will know how to carry themselves as knowledgeable men and or women.
