Education and schools are popular topics. There are issues and concerns that people discuss and debate about daily regarding education and schools. As a student you spend a majority of your time in school. Student voices should be heard regarding their education and school. Explain and describe your ideal school. What are the classes like? What courses are offered? What are the extra-curricular activities like? This is your opportunity to explain what your educational experiences should consist of.
In my opinion I think that school should be be more fun, but at the same time educational. I think that we should wear what we want to wear or at least three days of the week .I also think that the school needs to lower the prices on lunch, snacks, and drinks.
ReplyDeleteMy ideal of school should be a school where the children can learn and have fun at the same time. In school I don't think there is anything wrong with being able to have fun and learn at the same time. Teaching, learning, and having fun all together will also have students loving to go to school everyday and the attendance rate will be good, and you will also have no drop out rates. I would want a school that's not boring like my school is now because that's mainly why students are dropping out because we have no freedom at all and school is so boring. Why not make school a fun learning environment? I would because it's better than being bored the whole entire 8 hours. We should also be able to wear anything to school and at least have the opportunity to use our electronic devices at least during lunch and changing classes and just put them up during instructional time. I believe that school should end a little earlier at least get out about 2:15-2:30. We should also have a better lunch and make it a little longer at least 35 minutes and many things to choose from as well.
ReplyDeleteMy ideal school would be to have no uniform policy, four days for school instead of five, and more fun things do in and out of school. My ideal school classes will mainly be on the computer with a good wifi server. We will have catering business from restaurants. Extra curricular activities will be more of special interest than just for being a grade. We will not have Teachers of America teachers. I will hire teachers that we know of and learn to like, not teachers that are here for a year then leave. I believe the drop out rates will lower because of this method of a school. Students drop out because school is boring and they don't think its for them. But when you have all the equipment to keep a child in school then, they have no right to drop out. Further more, our school will have money so there will be no more budget cuts of any kind.
ReplyDeleteI would prefer the classes to be fun so that every student will be willing to learn more and wouldn't feel like things are going to come easily for them. There are many courses that is offered. The extra-curricular activities are okay. I would like to have a cooking class, auto-mechanic class, and a french class.
ReplyDeleteMy ideal school should be a school that have fun but also learned at the same time. Also I think we should get to wear anything but at the same time the clothing should be appropriate. I think we should have a cater just like other school's such as Hardees, Wendy's and Cookout. We should also have the opportunity to leave campus to go get outside food form restaurants that we choose. I really would love to have a fashion designer class, cooking class and even a comestology class for people that loved to do hair. We should go on fun trips at the end of the school year such as Wet wild, Carowinds or even Kings Dominion. I say this because we be in school for a long time an plus teachers could at least appreciate for what we do even if its wrong or right.
ReplyDeleteAs being a student at Southeast Halifax High School, the classes are very learnable. Epecially the basic cirriculumn are the most major to learn in. The courses that my school offerred is English 1 through 4, Algebra 1-2, Goemetry, and Pre-Calculus honors. My ideal school will have advance english and math, or college classes so students can have a jump start in college so they can be on a college level. The college courses will be 2 hours long. There will be 5 Blocks. The last block will be study time for all classes, makeup and, work assignments. The extra-curricular will be the same as a regular school. The reason why thats my ideal school is because, some student that graduate and go off to college, are not ready to tackle the high advance curricular the that college offer. Most likely they will drop out.
ReplyDeleteMy ideal of school would be fun and educational at the same time.I think school should be open only four days a week Monday through Thursday, We could do fun learning activities such as games, debates, and other activities that are based on the subject. We should have different classes such as cooking class, dance class, and many more. School should also have catered food such as Chic-Fil-A, Zaxby's, and Pizza Hut, We should have rewards if we are behaving well such as Dances, Free Days, and Maybe Trips. I also think we should not wear uniforms.
ReplyDeleteMy ideal school is rigorous, yet simple. The classes will follow the normal curriculum, but there will be a variety of electives, such as, Art, Band, Home Economics, Dance (all styles), Parenting, ROTC, Core & Sustainability, Creative Writing, Yearbook, Gymnastics, Songwriting, Music Production, and an Instrumental class. This school will have an orchestra. School should be fun, but also challenging. You shouldn't just be able to fly through school. We spend almost 8 hours in school, so it should never be completely boring. School is a place to learn and to have fun, so my school will consist of both things.
ReplyDeleteMy idea school includes a selective variety of clubs, activities, sports, group, social networks, and debates. you're 11th and 12th classes would be dedicated to what you want to major in at college. the 9th and 10th grade years would be to educate you on other important things you may need to know. My idea school will also have a variety of electives you could be a major course you would need to pass in order to graduate. half of days will be offered on Fridays and sometimes rotating Mondays. Also classes will be taken on a college level, meaning on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays you will take to same course. On the opposite days you would take your other course. My school will not be as strict or contain uniform polices.
ReplyDeleteMy idea school would have so many things to do you wouldn't be left without doing nothing such as: clubs, many sports (whatever you would have in mind),group sessions, book club, school spirit team,etc... The classes won't be too long nor short and especially boring, every class will be your favorite.
